Was wanting a classic tool watch and didn’t need to look any further than the Seiko Turtle. IMHO “the” best divers watch in terms of looks, price and quality.
Everyone knows it's a great watch. The experience with Watch Depot was 5 star as well.

There’s not much left to say about this tool turtle diver that hasn’t already been said—but one thing stands out: despite its substantial 45mm case, it’s easily one of the most comfortable and unobtrusive watches I’ve ever worn. In fact, it’s so well-balanced and ergonomic that I often forget it’s even on my wrist—a remarkable feat, especially considering I have one of the smallest male wrists on the planet!
Brought two watches for about $830 all up everything was great quick response to questions and bezel was aligned aswell

watch delivered promptly Wayne was great to deal with and we changed from the Tuna to the Turtle with no fuss. watch is well made is working great and is very comfortable to wear. things I would change; size maybe a little small for old eyes. but nothing else, its good value and nice looking, I like the Diver retro look.
So stoked I haven't taken it off since receiving it from Watch Dept. It's such a classic looking Seiko divers. I have a few other Seiko divers models and this Turtle is the largest. I have a fairly thin wrist and some of my other smaller watches roll around my wrist no mater how tight I do the band up. This turtle because of its larger size just sits flat on the top of my wrist and sits in place all day. Plus it just looks great with its classic styling. It's the OG of Seiko divers watches.
I was over smart / fitness inspired Insta watches and wanted something unique. That’s when I saw the Turtle. From the day I saw the profile picture I knew it was going to be special….until I met it in person. We’ve been inseparable ever since. Thanks Watch Depo for hooking us up.
On a serious note, the Turtle is a solid watch and looks great. I’m very happy with the purchase.
Excellent service and delivery from WatchDepot - I'm extremely pleased. The price was the lowest I could find online (just under $400 with the promo code) and the watch was packaged extremely well. I wonder if WatchDepot conducts some sort of QC check because my Seiko had perfect alignment and accuracy has been phenomenal as well - gaining about 2 sec / day.
Regarding the product, I must say this is the one of the last true old school Seiko dive watch.
This watch ticks all the right boxes: affordable, inhouse, iconic cushion case, ISO certified diver, screw down crown, good heritage and history, good brand.
Sure there's the fancy new King Turtle, but I think a dive watch like this would age better with scuffs on the case and aluminium bezel.
I also own the legend of all dive watches, the Rolex sub, but there's an inexplicable addictive quality about this watch and it hasn't left my wrist the past 3 weeks!
I have been a Seiko diver fan for a few years, and have owned a few of the legendary SKX range. Whilst these are the go to starting point for a beater/toolwatch/diver they are too small for larger wrists. That's why I love my new Seiko Turtle. All the beauty and reliability of the Seiko SKX, with a better movement and that classic cushion type case. Even though this watch is 45mm, the case design is such that it wears very well on small to large wrists. It has a classic style that can go from surfboard to boardroom to boot. Try one for yourself, you wont be disappointed.
