Great value for money
I purchased the watch for my husband because of the size and the GMT function. As he appreciates a smart looking watch, for the price point and being an automatic watch, a great gift.
The communication from Watch Depot was great and before receiving the watch, I received an email instruction on how to adjust the time and GMT function. The only complaint would be the time it took AusPost to deliver the watch, about 1 week of wait time.
The one feature that would make this watch a great buy would be Seiko using a sapphire crystal.

The Seiko 5 SSK023K is an excellent timepiece, especially for the price. It features a solid automatic movement, a sporty GMT function, and a clean, eye-catching design. The build quality is impressive — sturdy case, smooth bezel, and a comfortable bracelet.
I chose this watch as it has a smaller dial at 39mm against the larger 40+ dials. The gmt hand moves in distinct hourly clicks, making it easier to set up, Everything else is typical Seiko quality, solid and robust. The bracelet looks great and has a safety catch and most importantly doesn't grab hairs, making it a pleasure to wear. Im very happy with my purchase.
Beautiful Seiko 5 field GMT, reminiscent of the Rolex Explorer II.
The dial has a fine sand grain texture, the military time markers are printed on the dial, while the Arabic and hour indices on the minute track are Raised, encased in domed Hardlex crystal.
The fixed bezel is engraved with black lacquer colouring the numbers with a brushed steel finish.
the watch was delivered promptly, and it looks great! very happy with my purchase, I will be shopping with Watch Depot again.
The Seiko SSK023 is my first GMT and I am very happy with it, it's a nice looking timepiece and what I like most is the bezel is not the typical Dive style which adds to it's charm, The bracelet is good quality with solid end links, fits most wrists well, it is great value for money for an entry level GMT and being a Seiko, I highly recommend
