The Seiko 5 SSK023K is an excellent timepiece, especially for the price. It features a solid automatic movement, a sporty GMT function, and a clean, eye-catching design. The build quality is impressive — sturdy case, smooth bezel, and a comfortable bracelet.
I chose this watch as it has a smaller dial at 39mm against the larger 40+ dials. The gmt hand moves in distinct hourly clicks, making it easier to set up, Everything else is typical Seiko quality, solid and robust. The bracelet looks great and has a safety catch and most importantly doesn't grab hairs, making it a pleasure to wear. Im very happy with my purchase.
Beautiful Seiko 5 field GMT, reminiscent of the Rolex Explorer II.
The dial has a fine sand grain texture, the military time markers are printed on the dial, while the Arabic and hour indices on the minute track are Raised, encased in domed Hardlex crystal.
The fixed bezel is engraved with black lacquer colouring the numbers with a brushed steel finish.
