A tribute to history and innovation, the Seiko SRPL91K honours NASA’s legendary Chief Flight Director, Gene Kranz, who wore the original Seiko 6119-8460 during the Apollo 11 and 13 missions. This faithful re-creation captures the spirit of the original with vintage styling and modern functionality.

Housed in a 38.2mm stainless-steel cushion case, the watch features a silver dial, paddle-tipped seconds hand, and the return of the retro shield-style “5” logo at 12 o’clock. A bi-directional rotating bezel, split-colour day-date window, and dual-curved Hardlex crystal all echo the distinct details of the late 1960s original.

Powered by the modern Calibre 4R36 automatic movement, this timepiece offers manual winding, hacking seconds, and a 41-hour power reserve. The three-fold clasp with push-button release, screw case back, and 100 metres of water resistance add practical durability, while drilled lugs make strap changes easy.
